2. Black soldier fly (Diptera: Stratiomyidae) is a type of saprophagous insect. Larval black soldier
flies eat food scraps, animal feces, dead animals and plants for living. With high content of protein, they could be great ingredient of animal feeds. Black soldier fly farming could be a good way to treat agricultural waste to achieve ecological cycle.
